During the last three days, 155 workers of different companies have been screened in the UAE state of Ras Al Khaimah, while 25,000 workers will be screened in the next few days.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Humanitarian and Immunization and the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone in Ras Al Khaimah, a screening campaign has been launched three days ago. Medical teams have been sent, including doctors and paramedics.
About 25,000 workers will be screened during the medical campaign, said Thomas Joseph, manager of the Medical Center.
According to the schedule set up by the Ministry of Health, each medical team is visiting the offices and workplaces of different companies. Medical Center Medical Director Dr. KM Mathews said that Corona’s awareness programs have also been launched by corporate employees for corporate companies. Medical teams are also checking body temperature, respiratory rate, pulse, blood pressure and sometimes blood oxygen levels during screening of workers.
